The role of China-Europe trains in the development of trade between China and Central and Eastern European countries

According to the published "China-Central Eastern Europe Economic Research Report 2021-22", the trade volume between China and CEE countries reached a record high of $133.55 billion in 2021. Areas of cooperation go beyond traditional ones and are complemented by digital technologies, new energy and new energy vehicles. The development of the China-Europe land transportation link contributes to the development of domestic demand in China, the expansion of imports from China, and the development of new energy sources. China's domestic demand, expanding imports of agro-products, and taking full advantage of the complementarities between the Chinese and CEE economies, including through regional connectivity.
